And so it begins...

It is fitting that I start my blog with a photo of my wonderful teammate, friend and fellow graduate, Debbie.  For over ten years, she and I have enjoyed each others support, both in the classroom and more recently while we endured through countless hours and two summers for our masters degree.  This last May was truly a wonderful time!  Debbie and her students will show up from time to time in my blog as she is an amazing Kindergarten teacher (those kids and parents are so fortunate to have such a great teacher) and I have moved to first grade.

With this being said, I am finally starting on the adventure of blogging about history and geography for young learners.  This is something I have wanted to do for quite sometime, but the demands of work and the degree kept me from it.  NOT ANYMORE!!!

I hope you find my insights and stories of these kids interesting and inspiring.  It is something that I am truly passionate about and if you engage me in conversation about it, I hope you have some time!
