The Howard Fam
I have been so fortunate to have my family, not only support, but help and put up with me and the endless pictures I have taken over the years. Their patience and understanding has meant the world to me! Moffat partly came about because our kids were getting tired of me always wanting to take pictures of them. Moffat certainly helped with that. My husband, Jim, has been so supportive, going out on countless adventures for the sake of the picture.
Moffat's Extended Family
These two ladies have been two of my biggest supporters! Jill (center) and Lisa (right) have traveled with Moffat's cousins on numerous vacations with the goal of educating kids! We all share a deep love for Colonial Williamsburg. Lisa is also the editor of the book History In The Classroom: Performance And Pedagogy and Jill and I were contributing chapter authors.
My friend, Jessica, and I dream of teaching together. It will probably never happen, but in the meantime, we enjoy sharing books, stories, and even students. On a rare occasion we manage to enjoy some wonderful history adventures together. I feel fortunate to have a friend that lives in the amazing world of elementary school and history.
Nikki and her Magic Pen
My friend, Nikki, has a "magic pen"! This is what she tells me when I request her to draw. Truthfully, she is a very gifted artist and very giving person and draws ALL THE TIME. Her artistic gift has allowed me to add so many history makers to our classroom timeline as well as share as gifts for friends. Her artwork is her livlihood that helps support her family.
