It's more important that ever that we share the diverse and unique stories of all of our students. Students of all ages come from unique religious, ethnic, and family structures. We are different races and identify with different genders.
Celebrating these stories within each classroom places value on ALL students. This page is dedicated to the beautiful, unique, challenging, and heart-warming stories of all kids. With the beautiful artwork of my friend, Nikki, I am so excited to have the ability to dive into diverse stories so my students can experience windows, mirrors, and sliding glass doors as we enjoy literature together. Below is a slide show example showing how I intend to share and discover diverse stories with my students throughout the year. Please check my Teachers Pay Teachers Store for more developed plans.
